This Cutting Boards give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Love it. A thing of beauty, but very large.
I love my cutting board. I use it for all cutting and much preparation. It is beautiful, which is a good thing since it stays out on the counter. This thing is huge. Which is nice for a cutting board, but not if you must find a place to store it. Fortunately, I have a lot of counter space, so I don't mind leaving it out. It is also reversible, so you can cut on both sides. I wipe mine down with a damp sponge, and I've oiled it a couple of times in the couple of months that I have owned it. It looks like this might be something that I pass down to my kids.
2. Really BIG and AWESOME Cutting Board
I know the dimensions are listed, but I was still taken aback when I saw the size of this thing in person. It has quite the presence in our kitchen. My husband thinks it's too large, but I love being able to chop everything for our meal without having to move anything off the board. I wanted a chopping "station" and this is definitely it. It has such a solid feel under the knife as I chop. I received this block as a gift after putting it on my Amazon wishlist. I think it's quite a good value for what you get. I looked high and low for a large end grain chopping block and if you can find them at all, they usually cost hundreds. It's also important to me to buy American made products when possible. My only complaint is that this item is described as "domestic hardwood", which is rather vague. I wish it were all maple, but I don't think it is. I believe the correct way to care for this board is to keep it well oiled at all times, thoroughly scrape the board when you're done using it...

Absolutely Gorgeous
After reading the reviews this is the cutting block I decided to go with good or bad this was going to be it. I wanted a nice sized board but man I wasn't prepared for the size of this thing I knew what the measurements were but unless you measure this out on cardboard and place it on your counter the amazon photo will fool ya this thing is what they call it SUPER SLAB.
Ordered on the 5th arrived this morning 7th kudos Amazon. Wow! 30lbs I'am disabled so this board wont be moving around my kitchen I've seen some reviews say the wood had cracks or showed signs of splitting and I don't doubt their claims upon removing from box and shrinkwrap I got out a magnifying glass to get a really good upclose look I could find nothing not even a scratch this board was sanded so finely it kinda has a satin like look just beautiful I havent received my walnut oil yet so one can only imagine how much better this is going to look after a week of oiling.
