This Seltzer Bottles & Chargers give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Flawed design; going back to old SodaStream Pure
I was a long-time happy user of the SodaStream Pure. I had no complaints about it, but when the new SodaStream Source came out I was tempted by two things: the clean, modern design and the fact that bottles do not have to be screwed into the unit in order to carbonate the water. Having had the Source now for two months, I can say I am pleased with the appearance, but the design of the machine is fatally flawed.

Inserting bottles into the unit, you clamp them down instead of screwing them in. Unfortunately, the unit does not make an airtight seal with any bottle. I have tried more than 10. After barely a few seconds of attempting to carbonate, the bottle begins leaking massive amounts of air and making a horrifically loud squealing noise. Once the air starts escaping, no gas goes into the water, so it is impossible to get more than the lightest fizz on this machine. It is a huge disappointment.

Much as I hate to do it, I'll be pulling my old SodaStream Pure out of...

2. great invention
love it. use it all the time. lifestyle changer. simple to use, easy to keep up and healthy. I use flavorings that don't have added sweeteners.

Definitely worth the money
My wife and I picked up one of these after hearing about it and reading reviews online. We enjoy drinking sodas, but we find most to be way too sweet and full of high-fructose corn syrup. This was the perfect solution since Soda Stream offers flavors that do not contain HFCS and we control the amount of flavor that goes in, so we can dial down the sweetness to suit our tastes.

The unit is incredibly easy to use, having no buttons or settings to worry about. You just "plug" your bottle of water in and push down the front of the unit to carbonate to your taste, then add flavor to the bottle afterwards. Honestly, the hardest part of using the Soda Stream Source is screwing in the CO2 bottle in the back (hint: not hard at all). So far, we've tried the natural root beer flavor, the Country Time Lemonade/Sweet Tea mix, and the Orange flavor. All of them have been very good. It comes with a full CO2 bottle and if you have a participating retailer in your area (Best Buy,...
